REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
DKMS BMST Foundation India has developed a donation refund and cancellation policy as a part of our commitment to honor and respect the financial contributions that people make to DKMS-BMST.
This policy outlines the circumstances are as follow -
Who is eligible for a refund?
All individual/corporate donors are eligible for a refund, provided the donation has not been utilized for a specific project.
Can I get a refund of my donation?
Yes, you can get a refund provided you notify us with a written communication within 7 days. The amount will be refunded after deducting the transaction fee/processing charges.
What would be the mode of the refund?
We will refund the amount by issuing a cheque or online transfer, the preferred mode should be communicated in writing at the time of requesting a refund.
When can I expect the refund amount back?
You can expect the refund within 10 working days post your written refund request subject to the normal functioning of the banks.
What if there is a technical error or an error in the amount?
The same has to be informed to us in writing at contribute@dkms-bmst.org. Please provide details of the technical error and the nature of the mistake within 2 days of the transaction.
Can I ask for a refund after receiving a tax exemption certificate?
No, DKMS-BMST shall not be liable to refund any donation amount post the tax exemption certificate has been issued.
How can I cancel my donation?
For cancellation, the donor has to send us an email with all the details that has been provided to our organization previously. You can email at contribute@dkms-bmst.org
Can I cancel my donation anytime?
For regular giving donors, you may cancel your donation anytime before the 25th of every month. Cancellation requests post 25th will be processed in the next month. (Only if it’s regular giving)
For One Time donation, cancellation requests will be effective immediately post we receive the donation provided the funds are not utilized for a specific project.
