Being a talented actor and a recent activist for migrant workers during the COVID-19 lockdown, our latest patron is eager to carry on DKMS-BMST’s message to India. We extend a hearty welcome to Mr. Sonu Sood, the newest addition to our lifesaver squad and an ardent believer in what we do to save lives.

DKMS-BMST is dedicated to helping patients suffering from blood cancer and blood disorders find a matching donor by registering more people on the registry. Together, we have launched the #SwabSeSwagat campaign, featuring Sonu Sood, to invite the entirety of India to join hands and save lives by registering with us.

Sonu Sood says, “I have dedicated myself to working towards the society. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone’s life, and we should not forget that there are still lakhs of patients in India who are suffering from blood cancer or blood disorders and they need our urgent support. The easiest way you can raise hope in their lives is by registering as a potential blood stem cell donor. With this in mind, I have taken it as my duty and pledged to increase the blood stem cell donor pool of India by adding 10,000 potential stem cell donors, thereby giving hope of a healthy future to many patients in need of a transplant."
